The Odyssey is a route located closer to Devil’s Glen east end. Most climbers head over to the popular gulley descent on the west end, but the east has lots of routes, many new, to offer. At first glance, The Odyssey looks like a blank face route with an interesting start, but not much else.
However, looks can be deceiving. Yes, it does go a bit blank, where the crux is a thin crimpy section off the first rest ledge. It spit two climbers in our group off it on their first go, but once everyone had a shot at it, and figured out their own way of solving the crux, there were smiles all around.
